Alex walked slowly out to the lake. She had searched the castle many times since she had left the lake. She had yet to find any trace of her cousin or of Vivi. That only left one place, and there hadn't been an opportunity for her to be able to get there without being caught by a professor yet. They had been patroling that area heavely since the abductions. It had been a month since she had last seen either her best friend, her cousin, or her cousin's girlfriend. She kept searching places like La Stanza, hoping that they would just appear there. The rational part of her knew, she just needed to wait and hopefully something would happen to bring them back, but then, she hadn't been living by her rational side since that day on the lawn. The quidditch party. The last time she had talked to Mastermind. The last time she had a leading desire to talk to her best friend. Sitting down under her favortie tree, she sat so she could see the forest off to the distance. She could still see shadows patroling. 'Gah... I wish they would leave a loop hole of some sort...' She thought to herself as she pulled her journal from her robes. She had given it to her cousin before to read, but with her misisng.... Alex had a need to write in it. Everytime she got it from her cousin's dorm, she always made sure to return it. It had to be there waiting for Aura if... no when she returned. Keeping her head down, she tuned out the entire world around her and began to write. |

*Liviana Black ran following the bonds of the spell that she had put on Alex's dog tags almost a month ago. She had to reasons for doing so. The first one was that Alex had moved almost out of range for the weaking spell, and Livy couldn't let the spell "snap." The second reason was more important. She had seen Tempest. Sure, Tempest was smaller, dirttery and a little worse for the wear, but it was Tempest none the less. Livy was also hoping that Alex would be able to help Livy talk with Tempest through what ever was going on in her mind at the moment. As she neared the lake and saw Alex, she couldn't help calling out to her. Even though thier last meating had ended on bad terms, she still missed her, and hoped that her good new would help solve what ever was between them. "ALEX!! She's back." |

Alex heard someone coming up behind her. How could she not? She was in this particular spot, because not only of the view of the forest and the lake, but because of it's solitude and quietness. Any sound out of the ordinary in what she had deemed 'her spot' at the lake wold call her attention immediately. Yet, she did not turn to look at the person who had approached her. No one could call her attention away from her daily sit under her tree and watching for an opportune moment. Not even glancing away, she says quietly and simply as the person approached, "I want to be alone... please leave." Though, she got the feeling that her request fell on deaf ears when it was drowned out by the shout of Livy saying, "ALEX!! She's back." Closing her book with a slam, she stands up and faces Livy, throwing her journal into her inner robe pocket and standing with her foot out and her hand on her hips. "Liviana, exactly what part of I want to be alone, please leave are you not getting?" Alex questioned irritated. "And just who is it that is back that would make you think I want to be around you right now?" She questioned further. They had not seperated in their last conversation very well. Alex still did not want to ba around her. She still thought Livy was absolutely right. Friends only let you down the way Livy had. Alex knew that had Livy been the friend that she should be, they could have gone after their friend and her cousin. Instead, Alex was left to trying to figure out a way in without being caught by herself. |

'Ouch, not exactly the responce I was hoping for,' *Liviana Black thought, but she wasn't detered. It was a strange combination of happieness that Vivi was back, the odd feeling that she had gotten when she had talked to Vivi, and a need to try to resolve some of her and Alex's differences that seemed to drive her on. "Vivi is back Alex, Tempest, are friend, lost in the forest. I just saw her," Livy said, trying to get some emotion other than angure out of Alex. |

"Liviana..." Alex began, again purposely using her full name. "I don't really give a flying broomstick why it is you are..." She says trailing off as she realises what it was that Mastermind had said. 'Vivi.... back? No... it... it isn't possible.... I would have seen... I would have known....' She thought to herself thinking it through. She had been out here watching the forest everyday since she gave up hope of locating either Aura or Vivi in the castle. She kept hoping for an opportunity to arrise where she would be able to do what she felt had to be done. "No." Alex said quietly. "This is just your way of trying to keep me from going in the forest. I wouldn't be surprised if you just want to take me somewhere and keep me from trying to find them. Nothing you can do will stop me. First opportunity I have...." |

((No, I am not really here.)) An OWL flew out from the Hospital Wing window in search of Alexandria Davis, cousin to Aurora Braelin who was in the wing in need to medical attention. Landing on a rock next to Alex, after searching long a wide for her, the owl stuck it's foot out for Alex to take the following note:

Alex watched and tapped her foot when she saw an owl flying overhead. 'Great... just great....' She thought cringing. She hadn't answered her Mum's letter or told her yet of the dissappearences. She was expecting a letter from her inquiring when they would be coming home and she dreaded seeing that letter. Leaning down at the expectant owl, she unties the letter from it's foot. If it was the letter from her mum, she in no way wanted to read it yet. It didn't even dawn on her that the owl before her was neither Osiris, or Aura or Alex's hawks, Sky and Isis. Clutching the letter tightly in her hand, she turned back to Livy. "Well? Why is it I am supposed to believe you? Why should I? You don't care if she is back. You have not shown me anything to suggest that you do care." |

*Liviana Black was getting a head ache. 'Was Alex always this stuborn?' she asked herslef. "Alex, please. I would not lie to you about this. If I was lying, you would hate me more than you already do, and probally run strieght into the forest out of spite. She is back, I saw her. Shes a bit hurt, and looks like she hasn't eaten a decent meal in a while, but she is back, and I had to tell you, because I thought you would care and be excited to, but I guess you're not. I guess you prefer the thought that she is out there, because then you still have a reason to go out there and get hurt too," Livy said, but she left out one key thing. The way Vivi had acted when Livy saw her still made Liv shutter to think of it, but Alex did not need to know that now. |

"Okay... fine. Where is she?" Alex said softly, but still very upset with Livy. The truth was that she was very excited and happy to hear about Vivi, but she didn't want to get her hopes up. What if she wasn't back? What if Livy was just trying to keep Alex from even thinking about going in after them? What if she went with Livy and missed her opportunity? Then too... what if Livy was telling the truth? All these questions went through her head as she glanced from Livy to the forest and back to Livy than to the castle. Making a decision, Alex pulls her journal out and stuffs the letter into her journal, then replaces it in her inner pocket to read later. She then walks past Livy and towards the castle, then turns back to her, raising her eyebrows. "Are you coming? Or am I going up there by myself?" She said shortly. |

If *Liviana Black was excited for any short moment when Alex started heading for the castle, that happieness was short lived. Alex's anger seemed to have only grown at Livy's news. Livy had to tell herself about every second to have pacients with her freind, and she was doing rather well for only having a limited ammount of pacients. "Of course I'm coming, I would be up there now, if I hadn't found it imparative to find you first," Livy said, following Alex to the castle. |

Alex bit her tongue when she heard the comment from Livy about her being up there already. Part of her knew Livy was only trying to be a good friend. The part that was still upset with her friend though refused to allow the sensible one through. Deciding to keep her mouth shut, she continued walking to the castle, glancing back once to be sure Livy was with her. Crossing over the lawn, Alex finally mad it to the entrance hall doors. Pulling them open, she turned back to the Livy again. "I'm assuming I should be heading for the hospital wing?" She asked rather rhetorically. She knew that would be where she should go, were Vivi really back. |

Livy nodded quickly and then though for a second. It would probally be better if she wasn't there when Alex first saw and talked to Viv. "Ah, I'm going to go grab a few things, you know, to make Vivi feel more at home up in the wing. I'll catch up with you there," Livy said, and before Alex could make any remarks to the contary, Livy was already out of there. |
