Virtual Hogwarts > London and Beyond > Montrose ~ Summer's a break? |

Rohtia stood in the kitchen of her house, working on dinner. The sleeves of her robes were rolled up, her auburn hair was pulled back into a very messy pony tail, with her wand stuck there for safe-keeping, and there were dark circles under her eyes. A year ago, this is not where she would have seen herself as being, but things had changed and there was not really any other option. Things still had to be done. Although her dad was gone for a couple days for work, they were playing Caerphilly she thought, her younger sister would be home for dinner and her mum was upstairs. Rohtia would have to check on her soon, but first she needed to finish putting dinner on. After putting the roast on to cook, Rohtia left the potatoes to be peeled and chopped - thank goodness for knowing how to enchant objects - and headed outside to grab some veggies for the meal. |

((hee hee.. I felt like RPing receiving the letter.... so... you get two posts for the price of one ![]() ![]() Thursday afternoon... Alex was mid stretching with the barr in her mums studio, when she heard the scratching and tapping at the window near her. Jumping, her leg fell from the barr with a thud and she looked up to see what it was. Her eyes becoming wide saucers as she saw the culprit, she hurriedly rushed over to the window letting the feathered creature and glancing out the window to make sure no one was around. As the owl flew in and took up roost on a high fan, Alex headed to the studio door, taking a peek out the window and then locking the door. Perfect. An owl delivery at her mum's muggle dance studio. After five years in the wizarding world, this was the first time she happened to be in the studio insead of home during the owl post delivery time. Returning to the owl, she held her arm up and called it down to her by clicking her teeth, satisfied no one would come in and question why an owl was there and with a letter attached to his leg. As she untied the letter, she walked to her backpack and rifled through it in search of a treat. They may be hawk or bat ones, depending which was with her, but the school owls seemed to like them. "Score!" Alex said with a grin and held the treat out to the owl, instructing it to wait a moment and scratched it behind the head. Breaking the seal on the letter and unrolling it, she scanned the bottom for its sender. "Ooo.. Ro!" she said with a wide grin and began to read the letter (wrote by Ro).
Ro needed help? Frowning slightly, she began to wonder what was going on with her dormmate, teammate, and friend. She needed Alex's help? Alex couldn't help but wonder if Lelly wasn't able to help her or something, but that didn't matter. Ro was Alex's friend. She would help her in anyway that she could. Tearing the bottom half of the parchment off where it was empty still, Alex jotted down a quick note back and clicked her teeth to call the owl back down as she reread it.
Attaching the letter to the owl's leg again, she went back to the window and looked out to make sure no one was at the side of the building the window was on. Satisfied it was clear, she opened it and gave the owl a scartch on the head and another treat. "Take this back to Ro, okay?" At the owls ruffled feathers and look that seemed to say 'of course', Alex smiled and sent the owl out the window. ~*~*~*~ Early Saturday Morning... "Mum... I'll be fine. It's not like I haven't flown over muggle areas before..." Alex said shaking her head at her mother's worrying. Being the Flying TA had its advantages in that she flew across London every year with Professor Wood and the first years, helping to make sure they stay out of sight and keeping herself out of sight as well. She had decided to fly one of the team's brooms she had borrowed for the summer since there were no trains heading out to Scotland that morning and she had told Ro she'd be there. If Ro had owled her for help, it must be important and she wouldn't let her down. "Besides... it's still dark out and it's a Saturday. Any sane person is in bed still." Alex said trying to reassure her mother she would be fine before shouldering her book bag filled with enough clothes, including a set of robes, for a few days and giving her mum a hug and a kiss on her cheek. "I sent Isis on ahead already... I'll send her back with a note when I get there so you know I made it okay. I love you, Mum." Alex said with a smile and grabbed her broom, dissapearing through the door to her cousin's room and the attic to reach the roof. Once up there, she mounted her broom and felt the pocket she had on the side of her jeans to make sure her wand was there as her spare was in her wand case on her bedside table. Satisfied she was set to go, she took one glance around from the shadow of the tree she was shielding herself further under. Not seeing anyone, she threw her hair up in a high ponytail and kicked off, going as fast as her broom would allow her and dissapeared above the clouds. After cresting above the first layer of clouds, she turned in the direction of Scotland. Her trip had been uneventful for the most part so far, she couldn't see the towns below, so that meant they couldnt see her either. She only had one close call with a plane coming in view, but it wasn't close enough to distinguish her from a bird, luckily. 'Hmm... I should be getting close...' she thought to herself and went below the clouds briefly to check her surroundings. 'Oi... I hope this is the right area...' she thought to herself as it occured to her that her directions she had didn't really apply to air travel. She had to be on the ground to know for sure. Timing wise said she should be above or almost above Ro's town by then, so she decided to go ahead and land in an area filled with trees she spotted. Once on the ground, she dismounted and put her broom against her shoulder and headed into the town. It didn't occur to her until there though, that she didn't know if it was a wizarding town or muggle. ro was pureblood though, so she was hoping that a girl carrying a broom down the street wouldn't appear to strangely. There was no way she was going to just hide it. It was her quidditch broom after all! After walking a bit, though and still not being quite sure about whether the people she passed were wizards or muggles, she ducked into a side alley, pulling her bag off her shoulders. Perhaps if she wrapped a set of outer robes just right, it would simply look like a long package. It only took her a few moments and it appeared as if she was carrying a long thin, oddly shaped cloth covered parcel. Nodding once, she exited the alley and continued on, following the directions she jotted down, finally reaching Ro's house. At least, she assumed it was her house. She hadn't checked the number yet, but considering she could see Ro over near a garden, it had to be her house, right? "Oi! Ro!" Alex called out as she headed up the walk and towards where she had spotted her friend. "How you doing?" she questioned and then raised an eyebrow as she saw what her friend was using to hold her hair up. "You know... those work better when they aren't in your hair." she added with a playful grin. |

Rohtia had almost the number of carrots as she needed for dinner, but her hair was bugging her. A couple of the strands that were hanging down around her face because they had fallen out of her ponytail during the day, were being blown by the light breeze and tickling her face. Using the back of her hand, she tried to push the hair back behind her ear, but accomplished nothing other than leaving a smudge of dirt on her cheek. And then she heard someone call her name. Turning towards the gate at the front of the house, Rohtia saw Alex standing there. Jumping up, Rohtia hurried over and gave Alex a tight hug. "Thank you so much for coming!" Rohtia said as she hung off her friend. "I'm about ready to pull my hair out!" She exclaimed. "There's so much to do around here, it's not funny." Finally pulling back from the hug, Rohtia tried again, unsuccessfully, to push her hair out of her face. "And this is the best place for my wand, I'll have you know," Rohtia said matter of factly, but with a slight smile. "I tend to loose it otherwise, and then have to spend time searching for it. "But how has your summer been so far?" She asked curiously. "Oh, I have to finish supper. I'll just grab my carrots and we can head inside to talk." Turning back to the house, Rohtia pulled her wand out from where she had it stuck in her hair and pointed it towards the garden. "Accio!" She said as she started walking back towards the house, and caught the carrots in her gathered up robes on her way to the door before sticking her wand back where it belonged. After walking back into the house, Rohtia made her way directly into the kitchen and set the carrots down beside the sink. "Just set your things down anywhere," Rohtia told Alex over her shoulder as she stuck the now ready potatoes in a pot and put it over the fire to cook. Sitting down, Rohtia took her wand out again and waved it towards the sink to get the carrots cleaned up. "So how's your summer been?" Rohtia asked Alex again. |

Stumbling back slightly as Ro jumped up and gave her a hug, Alex shifted the robe covered broom in her amr out of the way and returned it with a grin. Though, it was short lived as Ro said she was ready to pull her hair out. Once Alex was released from her friend, she raised an eyebrow at her and tilted her head, replacing her smile. "Well then.. never fear... Alex is here!" Alex said, playfully striking a super hero pose and flexing her arm muscle. "Hmm... maybe I should cast an engorgion on that muscle first..." she said shrugging her shoulders slightly. "I think you've been around Cait too long if you'd lose your wand if it wasn't in your hair." Alex said with a wink to reaffirm she was just joking around. It was well known (and hard to miss) the mess that their friend always had in her area of the dorm and in Alex's mind it was a miracle Cait was able to find those necessary things like her wand. But it was one of those quirks that made her friends part of who they werre and she wouldn't change either of them. "You need a holster or a arm band... or heck.. a pocket.. but, the wand could be the next hot hair piece." she continued on with a laugh. "You'll make it the must do trend yet." "My summer so far? Well it's been... Ro! You sure that's a good idea?" Alex said looking around and clutching her broom with wide eyes. "What if a muggle saw? If this is a safe place to do magic and fly and what not? I will feel really silly for my slight panicing earlier when I landed if it is..." Alex trailed off as she followed her friend inside. Alex wasn't one to just wander anywhere in an unfamiliar house, so she followed Ro into the kitchen as well. Finally unwrapping her robes from around her broom, Alex leaned it in the corner and put her book bag down next to it. "The thought of being able to do magic freely at home is very foreign to me... I know I can... but I live as a muggle mostly when I'm home, with the exception of sneaking my broom out in the late night darkness and owl post... all the neighbors are muggles... well, now they are anyways since Nick moved." |

Rohtia shrugged as Alex started going off about muggles. "There are some around," she admitted. "But they're mostly in town. Plus, I was so snippy to the few I've seen here this summer that I don't figure they'll be back. Plus, there's so much to do that I don't think I could do it all without magic." Rohtia looked over at Alex. "Make yourself at home," she said with a slight smile. "I'm the only one who'll care about where you go, anyway. Well, unless you go into my sisters' rooms, but they're upstairs." Rohtia leaned her cheek against her hand and looked tiredly over at Alex. "You know," she said. "I don't know how I'd be able to deal with living in a completely muggle area, especially now that I'm of age. And if there's time, we should go flying for a bit before you leave. The team's gone, so we could probably use the stadium without any problems." |
Posted by: Alexandria Davis Mar 26 2005, 11:32 PM |
"Living with muggles is all I've ever known, other than Hogwarts." Alex said shrugging slightly. "My entire family is muggle... other than Aura and Aunt Sarah... but we only just found out Aunt Sarah was a witch... Oh and Selina, of course... but she's not related by blood... and she was adopted after I started at Hogwarts. So, I guess I'm just used to doing thigs without magic... not that I don't use it when I can at home... but I have to be very careful no one outside the family sees. Tis why I only fly late at night... and mum would flip if she knew I did that." "Guess this means I was right to bring my robes with me. I honestly wasn't sure..." Alex said nodding her head towards Ro's robes. "Wait a sec... stadium? As in... a stadium... like... a professional pitch? You go play on it?" Alex said her eyes lighting up. Sure, she did go to Puddlemere's practice stadium each year, but that was to watch them practice not actually being in the air in a professinal stadium. She could almost hear the crowds' shouts of 'Queen!Cappy Davis' as she chased the snitch or bludgered the other team's seeker. "You know... it always amazes me when I go to a friend's house who grew up in the magical world... I would never in my wildest dreams have access to a stadium... your dad is a manager right of one of the teams?" Alex questioned and walked over to where Ro was working. "What can I do to help out?" |
Posted by: Rohtia Mar 27 2005, 12:45 AM |
"No, nothing at the moment, but thanks," Rohtia said in response to Alex's offer. But what Alex said about using magic at home did make sense. At times Rohtia forgot that some of her friends came from muggle families, mainly because anytime she saw them they were all able to use it more or less freely. Especially the last couple years since they had learned more. "And yeah, even though dad's a coach for the Magpies, I don't normally spend much time there," Rohtia said. "Largely because of mum..." And here, Rohtia paused for a second. "But the team's not going to be there for a few days, and I don't think they'd really mind if we borrowed it for a little bit." |

"Well.. if you change your mind. Let me know... you did say you needed help in your letter after all.... So.. I'm here to help with anything you need." Alex said, watching as the carrots seemed to clean themselves. Even after five years she was still amazed at the difference using magic could make. "Does your mum not like you going over there?" Alex questioned after Ro said she didn't get to go there much cause of her mum. "Or does your mum just think flying is dangerous and quidditch even more so.... That's one very good thing about my mum being muggle... she doesn't know about things like the bludgers and I definitely don't volunteer the information. She knows it's a game played on brooms similar to football and that I'm captain. She knows about the snitch as well since it's what I played originally... anything about the bludgers though... no need to worry her... not like I've ever got too hurt from them." Alex said shrugging. "Even when Jenna used her bat on me." she added with a shake of her head and a small laugh. "I guess there are both good and bad things to being muggleborn. Might not be able to do magic, but mother's not knowing what a bludger is is rather convenient." she said with another laugh. |

Rohtia shook her head. "Mum has never liked me playing quidditch, or flying, for that matter," Rohtia said. She had thought that Alex knew that, but maybe it was just Caity and Mon and the news hadn't travelled around the rest of the dorm. That would be a strange occurance because it normally didn't take too long for news to move through the dorm room, and it wasn't as if Rohtia had been hiding this knowledge for the last five years. But Rohtia decided to just shrug it off. "This last year I haven't exactly had the time to go practice other than at school." Seeing the carrots were done being cleaned and cut, Rohtia got up to go put them in a pot and put them on the fire. While there was a lot she could do with magic, some things were just easier doing by hand. "It's not going to help me get signed by a team," Rohtia continued as she worked, speaking over her shoulder to Alex. "But there's really not a whole lot I can do about that at the moment. |

Alex bit her lip. She hadn't known Ro's mum didn't like her flying or anything. Something told Alex their mothers would get along great were they to ever meet. Though, something told Alex that might not be a good idea anyways as the two together might be able to come up with logical reasons why they shouldn't fly. That and Alex'x mum thought all of the wizarding world was dangerous, but that was beside the point. "That's all I ever get to practice... at school." Alex said shrugging slightly. "Not exactly many places to play quidditch when your family is mostly muggle. I uh.. sneak out to fly occasionally.. but don't tell Mum that. She'd flip." "Ro... you're a good player and if you want to play professionally, I'm sure you will be able to do it.... even without practicing much at home. I mean... you have the expirience. You've been playing for Ravenclaw since we were first years, right? Not many can say that." Alex said nodding her head. "Plus, you have the captain expirience. The professional recruiters will be sure to like that... it shows leadership. Is that what you want to do when you leave school? Play quidditch?" |
Posted by: Rohtia Apr 8 2005, 04:08 PM |
Rohtia nodded. "I've wanted to be a pro player since I was little," she said. "I'm not even sure I remember a time when I didn't want to be one. I have thought of a back up, but I'm not sure whether it'll work for me. Especially if medi-witches need to have transfiguration. If that's the case, that'll be totally out of the question." Having finished getting the last of dinner on to cook, Rohtia moved back to the table to sit down as she heard the front door open. A few moments later, a little blond head stuck into the kitchen doorway, followed by the rest of the little 10-year old witch. "When's dinner, Roh?" The little witch asked. "And who's that?" "Soon, Colleen," Rohtia replied. "Go get cleaned up. Did you play in the mud again today? No, I don't want to know. Just hurry and clean up. And while you're up there, go ask mum if she's coming down for dinner tonight." Rohtia turned back to Alex to continue their conversation, but just as she opened her mouth noticed that her sister hadn't moved yet. "Now, Colleen," Rohtia said sternly, closing her eyes in frustration. Luckily when she opened them again, Colleen had gone. "What fun," Rohtia said sarcastically to Alex, an unhappy smile on her face. |
Posted by: Alexandria Davis Apr 11 2005, 01:31 PM |
"If playing pro is something you really want.... I bet you will do it. I don't see why you can't do it. You're a good player..." Alex said nodding her head. "Besides... your expirience alone will set you apart... I mean... how many people can say they've played as long as you or have had the exposure with your dad being a coach... right?" "Still having probs with Transfig?" Alex questioned raising an eyebrow. "I guess it's like Potions and me... we will just never mix. Though, maybe transfig will just click in your mind some day? Cause you do well in your other wand work classes, right?" Then a small girl entered the room and Alex gave her a small smile as she inquired when dinner would be and of Alex's identity. She was about to open her mouth to introduce herself when Ro continued to question her about playing in the mud. Biting back the smile that threatened to escape her lips as her friend said she didn't want to know after all and sent her off to get cleaned up. Giving the young girl a smile again as Ro turned back to Alex, she decided introductions could wait. Even more so once she got a look at her friend's face as the girl didn't listen right away. Once finally gone, Alex raised an eyebrow at her friend and gave her a sideways smile. "That your sister? She reminds me of the tiny terrors... they never listen immediatley either..." Alex said shaking her head. "I swear... if I ever listened as well or got into as much as the tiny terrors, I need to apologise to my mum..." she added, conveniently pushing out of her memory the mischeif she had gotten into with her uncle of all people almost every holiday. Then there was, of course, that incident with Nick shortly before she got her letter.... but that was his own fault. He had it coming. At least in Alex's mind he did. |
Posted by: Rohtia Apr 11 2005, 03:52 PM |
"Yeah, that's Colleen," Rohtia said as she listened to make sure the younger girl was actually going up the stairs. "It's more that she doesn't want to have to go see mum by herself if she doesn't have to, and when she does, she tries to actually stay there as short a time as possible." Letting her eyes fall to the table top, Rohtia paused slightly before continuing. "It might be depressing going into her room, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have to do it." Pausing for another few moments, Rohtia tried to turn her mind to more cheerful thoughts. And the scary thing about her situation and state of mind was that Transfiguration was a more cheerful train of thought. "Yeah, I am still having trouble," Rohtia said, finally looking back up at Alex. "I mean, I am doing a lot better after that tutoring session I had before our OWLs, but I don't know if it was enough of an improvement to be able to get into the class next year." Rohtia sighed. "So I'll just have to wait and see. It was nice actually being able to do something for that class, though." |
Posted by: Alexandria Davis Apr 16 2005, 03:14 AM |
Nodding her head in agreement with Ro, she let her change the subject back to her Transfig. Alex figured that talking about her mum was one of those things Ro didn't want to do if she didnt' have to considering she was choosing to talk abot Transfig instead. "You never know... Jul swears he's not as big of a pompous ar... git as quite a few of us think..." Alex said shrugging her shoulders slightly. "I definitely don't see it... but then... that's me. Perhaps he has a good bone down deep.... very deep and will see your improvement and allow it?" Alex continued. "You sure there's nothing I can do to help?" |
Posted by: Rohtia Apr 17 2005, 06:25 PM |
"I really could still use some help," Rohtia said. "But if I don't get into the class next year, there's really no point. Although it might not be bad coming up with a reason to have a few more tutoring sessions..." Realizing exactly what it was she said, Rohtia blushed and turned away slightly to try to get control of herself. She had managed to avoid telling Alex too many details about Casseus tutoring her at the end of the year, so why was she bringing it up again, inviting more questions. Finally feeling that her cheeks were back to normal, Rohtia turned back towards Alex. "But I'll have to wait till I get back to school to figure that out for sure." |
Posted by: Alexandria Davis Apr 17 2005, 08:36 PM |
"Out with it Ro..." Alex said as she fully noticed the blush Ro had creep up her cheeks. She knew that she was getting tutoring from Casseus. Why, she couldn't for the life of her figure out. He was a git. Why anyone would want to spend anytime alone with that boy with out thir wand pointing at him and hexes being said, she would never understand. It was that moment that something hit her. Blushing. Blushing and tutor session with Casseus. Casseus's don juan habits. No. Not happening. He couldn't be with another of her friends, could he? He was trouble. "... umm.... you two aren't.... together.... are you?" she questioned her eyes closing slightly as she hoped beyond hope it was a no. |
Posted by: Rohtia Apr 17 2005, 09:22 PM |
Rohtia had just gotten herself back under control, or so she thought, when Alex told her to spill everything, causing her to blush again. "What?" She asked, shocked at Alex's second, stammered question. "Me and...Casseus? No, together? No, we're not." Rohtia couldn't believe that Alex had asked that, although she really shouldn't have been all that surprised by it. Alex did have a tendancy to probe into things like that. "Why would you think that?" She asked, still blushing. The truth was, Rohtia would actually like it if it were true. She had a better chance with Feuris, and, well, that hadn't exactly worked out. But it didn't stop her from liking Casseus. |
Posted by: Alexandria Davis Apr 18 2005, 12:13 AM |
"Well... I don't know... you're blushing when you mentioned the tutoring sessions.. it kind of made me think you were together or something cause I mean it's the same sort of blush I have with...." Alex said trailing off and then coughing slightly and glanced up towards the stove. "So... umm... what can I do?" Alex said questioning, deciding now would be a great time to change the subject. Ro hadn't been sucked in by Casseus, so all was right in the world. |
Posted by: Rohtia Apr 18 2005, 12:30 AM |
Rohtia almost missed Alex's slip. Almost. If Alex had of pressed her any more about Casseus, she might have. But her own embarassment suddently gone, Rohtia looked directly at Alex. "You and who, Alex?" She asked. Rohtia knew exactly who Alex was talking about, since she had seen a number of the exchanges between Alex and Creylen. But the fact that she was actually using that as an example, that meant something. But what exactly? It couldn't mean that they were together, could it? If they were, it'd be about time, but the real question was, did it actually happen? "You blush like that because of who, Alex?" Rohtia repeated, convieniently ignoring her attempt to change the subject. "Is there something you want to share?" |
Posted by: Alexandria Davis Apr 18 2005, 01:20 AM |
Alex's eyes widened as she realised Ro just wasn't going to let her change the subject. She knew Ro had to know who she was talking about. It had dawned on Alex that it seemed as if the entire team knew she liked Crey. When Alex had begun wearing her heart on her sleeve, she hadn't quite figured out, but the team seemed very aware of it. If only the two of them had been fully aware. But that didn't matter now. They were aware of it now and that was what mattered. "Share? Moi?" Alex said feigning innocence and idly playing with her cross around her neck as had become her habit now anytime her mind turned towards him... which was all the time. "Why would you think I had something to share?" she continued as the telltale blush creeped up her cheeks. She knew that her friend was not going to buy it. While she wanted to play with Shan and Brenna a bit and not tell them at first, Ro wasn't them and was far from the 'meddling ickle duo'. Dropping her hand from her necklace, she leaned forward slightly as if she had a great secret to tell. Great yes. Secret... hardly. But the smile on her face was probably more than enough to tel Ro what she wanted to hear. "Well... beginning of the summer... I dropped by Crey's house and well... we talked and what not... and... we're together.... he's my boyfriend now." Alex said her grin widening if it was possible as she told her the news. Leaning back after her news, her eyes twinkling, she gave a playful shrug, "That the news you wanted me to share?" |
Posted by: Rohtia Apr 18 2005, 01:48 AM |
Rohtia waited, not exactly patiently, while Alex first decided whether to say anything, then stammered out her answer, but as she finally did share the news, Rohtia smiled. "Yes it is," she said happily. "And congratulations. It's about time the two of you got together. I'm actually surprised that you didn't before now." But having said this, and seeing the blush still on Alex's face, Rohtia decided that she had done enough to embarass her. At least for the moment. "It is great, though," she continued. "I'm happy for you." |
Posted by: Alexandria Davis Apr 18 2005, 02:08 AM |
"Surprised? You too?" Alex said laughing slightly. "It seems as if the whole team has known what we haven't... why is that?" Alex continued shaking her head slightly. She still didn't get it. She wasn't that clueless. How was it they all knew something she was unsure of? One thing was sure, she was glad that Ro seemed okay with it. Part of her worried how everyone would react, though the more rational side, knew everyone would be happy for them. Now that she had told Ro though, she couldn't wipe the smile from her face. She could only hope that that smile would be a permanent feature on her face for a long time to come. "Thanks, Ro... I don't think I've been this happy in a long time. Though, I miss him. I haven't seen him all that much since then... but it was wonderful going to his house. I just sort of surprised him and showed up one afternoon. He gave me this..." she said and held the cross necklace up to show her friend. "His dad gave his mum it when they first started seeing each other..." she added quietly, her smile still remaining. |

Rohtia nodded as she listened to Alex speak. She could remember a time, a few years ago now, when she had felt just like she imagined Alex must be now. Mind you, in her case, it had ended in heart break so it really wasn't all that good of a memory, but Rohtia made sure to push that out of her mind. Then Alex showed her the necklace she had been playing with just moments ago. "That's really nice," she said with a slight nod. "Nice and simple enough to wear every day, but still fancy. It's great." Then Rohtia had a thought. Based on how Alex had said it, she was likely the first one to be told about the new, official relationship between Alex and Creylen. "So? When are you going to be telling the rest of the team?" |
Posted by: Alexandria Davis Apr 18 2005, 02:29 AM |
"I'll probably end up telling Livy in a couple weeks. We're getting together in Diagon Alley. If I don't go to Grimmauld before than." Alex said thinking and counting to herself to think of when she was to be in Diagon Alley. Couple weeks was still awhile away. "As for the rest.... not sure... doubt it will be before we go to school though. Crey, Liv, and you are the only ones on the team I'm planning on seeing this summer. Didn't really make plans with anyone else... granted, only made actual plans with Livy before school ended, but it's just our normal get together with Viv, Nick, and Ky if she can make it. We get together every summer and usually spend a weekend at one of our houses." Alex said as she thought about the different members and when she might encounter them. "Other than that, I'm pretty much in my mum's studio every day between my class and the class I teach for her when I'm home. So, probably no chance of seeing anyone else to tell them." Rohtia nodded as Alex explained who she would, and wouldn't be telling about Creylen before school started in September. But her last comment made Rohtia laugh. "That would be fun," she said. "But you know, even they realized that the two of you liked each other, and they're ickle still." Looking back behind her, Rohtia realized that everything was cooked. Getting up, Rohtia got the potatoes off and set them to being mashed as she turned back to Alex. "Would you mind getting the roast on the table while I get the rest of the stuff ready?" Rohtia asked before getting the carrots. ((OOC: end of thread since the forum will be closing soon, and we're both tired)) |
