Alex sighed to herself and closed her book with a soft thud. Even the pages of Jane Eyre weren't serving to entertain her at the moment, which was highly odd in itself. If it wasn't for the fact her mum was already out at the studio, Alex thought about going across town to it. Unfortunately, she didn't think that her mum would really appreciate her getting off at the closest tube stop that wasn't all that close at all. Alex never minded it, but she really didn't want to sit through a scolding. Why was it she had chosen to not go with and be able to practice all that she never could in school? Oh yes, she was intending on doing something constructive like hanging out with her sister, who had not told Alex that she had plans already with one of her friends. Made her wonder idly what a few of her friends were doing. Shaking her head to herself, she got up and walked over and looked out her second story window, first at the drive way to see if any of the cars had returned. Seeing they hadn't, she glanced down with a smile to the flowers her mum, dad, Gailie and herself had planted below her window the first week they had moved in. Lavender and yellow roses were her favorite and she was always happy to see they were flourishing whenever she came home. It had to be one of her favorite things about their house. She always loved the way the color stood out brightly against the white of the outside of their home and the large white porch. Made them seem somehow more special. Stepping away, she opened her closet and pulled out her ballet shoes. Lacing them up, she stretched her feet and nodded once to herself. Tossing Isis and Kallisto a few treats from the bag on her dresser, she headed towards the door intent on using the warm up bar in the basement turned rec room. If she couldn't actually go to the studio that afternoon, at least she could get some practice in. It was this beginning of summer remembrence that always made her regret not touching her shoes while in school. Not that she could anyways, she was always too busy with class, her friends, PAMM, or Quidditch. Ballet had seemed to take a back seat about halfway through her first year. |

Creylen had only been home for a week or so when he felt boredom sinking in quickly. Father was back at work after taking an extended break and mother was gone throughout the day visiting other families or holed up in her office at home and working for her company back in America. He had discovered that summer at home was nothing like being at school and began wondering what his friends were doing for break. He thought over the various friends he had made in the first three years and was very dissappointed that he had spent minimal time with Feuris since he returned to school for second term the previous year. His mind then swayed to Alex. He had not really thought about her much as school ended with the hustle and bustle of exams and all that came along with them. He wondered idly what she was up to at that moment and how things back at home were going for her. He hadnt even found out how school had ended for her and what her plans were for the summer. He wondered how things were going for her and if she would mind a visit. Well there wasnt really any way for him to find out so he just decided that he would venture off for the day. Thankfully his mother was home and he told her that he would be away for the day and maybe the evening. She seemed rather ok with that and he wondered if she even fully heard him, while being so engrossed in her work. He ran to his room and grabbed up his broom and cloak. He was going to fly to her house even though it might not be the best way to get there, it was the way he knew to get there the fastest. He had discussed where she lived with her before and he vaguely knew the area, but having lived in this house for the majority of his life he hopped onto his broom and quickly darted into the sky. Luckily for him there was a great amount of low cloud cover today and it would conceal him well from onlookers on the ground. He checked the direction he was heading to make sure that he was going the right way. When he realized he wasnt, he made a quick U-turn and headed the other direction towards her house. The flight was rather uneventful as he casually peaked out of the clouds to see where he was and make a guess on how much longer it would be. It took him nearly 35 minutes to fly there and he was getting rather chilled. Thankfully his cloak kept him rather warm, and he had become accustomed to the cold air in the sky even when it was warm, from the many Quidditch matches he had played in. He wasnt sure exactly where her house was but he landed in a field on the outskirts of the suburb to avoid attracting attention. He hid his broom in a nearby busy to avoid carrying it around looking weird. Thankfully he had not brought one of his more expensive ones and elected his much older one. He wouldnt be nearly as dissappointed were it to go missing. With that taken care of he headed into the suburb to search for Alex's house. He slowly wandered down many streets looking for something that might set off the fact that she lived there. Like the name Davis plastered on a mailbox, or something. He noticed nothing and wondered if he should approach one of the houses and take a chance that it might either be hers or that it would be someone that knew where she lived. He saw a house with some lavender and yellow roses underneath a window and found it rather attractive, however he chose the house across the street to knock on the door because of its proximity. He knocked on the door and waited patiently as he heard movement in the house. A lady came to the door with a rather agitated look on her face but she seemed to be rather pleasant when he greeted her politely. "Sorry to interrupt ma'am but I was wondering if you happened to know where the Davis' live. I am supposed to be visiting with them today, however I know not which house is theirs." he said with a friendly smile. He caught her eyes venturing over his hair but she answered in a sweet tone. "Yes dear, they live right across the street. The house with the lavender and yellow roses. That's theirs." she responded. Creylen smiled as he mentally kicked himself for being lazy and not trying that house. "Thank you ma'am. It's much appreciated." he said before turning to walk away. He heard her mutter behind him. "Today's youth and their hair." He just smiled as he walked away across the street. When he arrived at the door, he took a deep breath before knocking. He waited for about a minute and when no one answered, he knocked much louder. He patiently waited for a response. |

Scrunching her eyebrow as she heard a knock at the door, she paused on her way down the basement stairs to see if anyone would open the door. It took her a moment to realise no one would considering she was the only one at home. It wasn't something she was used to that summer with as busy as their house had seemed. Turning around, she headed back up the stairs and through the door to the basement as she heard them knock again. "I'm coming... I'm coming..." Alex called out, not knowing if they could even hear her in the first place and not really caring. On ething was sure... it better not have been a salesman. She had no desire to talk to a salesman. Although, one might be fun to play with. She still knew plenty of muggle things her uncle and father taught her to play a trick on someone. Making sure her wand was completely out of site as had become her habit quickly in the last week, she unlatched the door. "Yes?" she began automaticall until she caught a glimpse of blue hair standing on the front porch. Scrunching her eyebrow, she began to survey to see if she needed to close the door quickly. She quickly realised there was no need. Not only was there blue hair there, but it was blue hair attached to Creylen. As she realised who it was standing in front of her unannounced, a wide bright grin quickly spread across her cheeks. "Resperv! Crey! Wow! How are you?!" Alex said opening the door fully and giving him a hug, not even noticing that she had her ballet slippers on outside the house and was slightly babbling. Blushing as she released him, she stepped back inside and nodded her head towards the living room that was through the foyer covered in various pictures of the family through the years. "Umm... wanna come in? What brings you over to my little corner of the muggle world?" Alex questioned, trying to distract him from not only the blush that had crept up from her hug, but also pictures of her from her childhood. She'd have to get her mum to move those. She had missed him already and was excited to see him. Sure, they had just left school not long ago, but it seemed like so much longer because they had all been very busy after the quidditch game with trying to do well on their exams and getting ready to leave for the summer. |

"Resperv! Crey! Wow! How are you?!" Creylen smiled at the exuberant reaction to his arrival. "Well its definitely that good to see you as well." he said with a grin right after she finished. "As for how I am doing, well rather well." he added. "I even got to meet one of your more than helpful neighbors." he said with a motion to the house across the straight. "The lady that lives there directed me to your house, however she seemed rather bothered at having to help someone, but kept a calm demeanor with me." he finished with a grin. "Guess I just have that calming affect on people." Creylen's face flushed slightly at the hug that she gave him. He wasnt sure why it flushed, it was only a hug. However, he knew that his feelings for her were more than platonic and it was part of the reason that he had come across the city to her home. He was not going to let her know that though. Things were far too complicated for him at the time, and he wasnt sure the best way to broach that subject. As it was he followed her into her house, noting the awkward looking shoes she was wearing. "Umm... wanna come in? What brings you over to my little corner of the muggle world?" "Well actually I was thinking that maybe I would just stand on the porch all day and talk to you at the doorway. Seem reasonable?" he asked with a smirk. "As for why I had made my way over to your little corner, well I dont really know. I knew that you were here just outside of London, not too far from me and thought it would be cool to drop in on a friend. Thankfully you were here." he added with a smile. "It is a rather long trip though, a bit longer than I had anticipated." he continued, his cheeks rosy from the wind. "Guess I should have figured that out before I made the journey. Anyways, I came over because, well things were rather dull at home. Everyone is working and all my friends are either gone or live too far away to visit. So, I decided to head over and see how your break was treating you. I mean it was not even like we got to talk at all between the Quidditch Match and the end of school. Things got so hectic that last month." he finished with a grin. Creylen looked around the foyer that he was passing through before finding a soft seat, much different than the broom he had spent the last 35 minutes on. Many of the pictures that he saw seemed to be of Alex when she was much younger and they made him smile. She had been very cute as a child, something that obviously carried on into her older years. The mere thought made him blush though, wondering where he was coming up with these things. He decided to alleviate focus from his face and turned his attention to her shoes. "So, umm trying out a new fashion trend?" he asked nodding to her shoes. "They do quite a bit for the ankle, however i am not sure that they will catch on, if that is what you are looking for." he finished. "I highly doubt that I would wear them." He watched her turn deeper shades of red and grinned. To alleviate her he again changed the subject. "So what have you been doing to stay busy since school ended?" he asked realizing that he truly knew nothing about her summer. He wondered what she did for fun when not at school and what she found to keep herself entertained, and then about her friends not from school. He really did not know much about those since he never really had any since he changed school so quickly, however friends were plentiful at Hogwarts. He looked around the house, which wasnt much different than his own and smiled. "Tis a rather nice home you have." he said thinking back to the long journey to get there. He then realized that she didnt know how he got there, and could very well scold him for not taking a safer method of transportation. Then again she wasnt known for being the safest person at school either. "Your place doesnt look that much different than my own. Since my mom does most of the home stuff, it stays fairly 'muggle.'" he said taking one last look around the place. "So do I get a tour or do I have to stay here?" he asked politely. |

"So, umm trying out a new fashion trend?" he asked nodding to her shoes. "They do quite a bit for the ankle, however i am not sure that they will catch on, if that is what you are looking for." he finished. "I highly doubt that I would wear them." "No, huh?" Alex said playfully putting her foot out a bit and turning it slightly up en pointe as if she were modeling the latest fashion and not just her ballet slippers. "I think they would go wonderfully with the cloak. Which you can take off, you know. No need for it in here... too warm. And.. they're my ballet slippers. I was just on my way downstairs to try to get at least somewhat back in shape... ballet's like quidditch.... you don't do it for awhile... and you remember exactly why it is you should practice." Alex said shaking her head slightly at herself with an amused grin. She felt like she knew both sides of that statement very well and kenw he had to understand it from the quidditch stand point. "This is pretty much the main thing I do on my summers. I remember that I really should do something while I'm at school other than quidditch and er.... other stuff." Alex said trailing off slightly. "Well, other than my own beating myself up for not taking my ballet shoes out, I teach at my mum's studio. She gives me the tiny tots class to do with what I will every summer. And I also rejoin my old class... they've finally accepted that I'm in a boarding school up north... just, obviously, they don't know it's Hogwarts. Mum always tells them I go to her alma mater. And wow... I sound like a boring ballet obsessed person..." "Anyways... then of course, I do the normal catching up with my family. I think that's why Mum always insists for me to start right where I leave off at the studio... guess it makes it seem like I'm not gone nine months of the year... at least for the summer." Alex said shrugging. "No tours allowed. You are now being forced to stay right here." Alex said with a wink. Reaching out with a smile, she pulled a bit on his lower arm near his hand and headed towards the stairs to go up. "Best to start from the top and work our way down... and I can get some normal shoes. Just walking in these doesn't make for the most comfortable of situations for my feet. Anyways... What about you? I don't think I really know anything about your home life..." "Wait a second... cloak? You wore that on the tube?" Alex said with a raised eyebrow. "I bet you got loads of stares.... and not for the nice shade of blue." she continued, her grin widening as she pictured it, never once considering that he would have used another means of getting to her house. "Or did you get dropped off or something?" |

"I think they would go wonderfully with the cloak. Which you can take off, you know. No need for it in here... too warm. And.. they're my ballet slippers. I was just on my way downstairs to try to get at least somewhat back in shape... ballet's like quidditch.... you don't do it for awhile... and you remember exactly why it is you should practice." Creylen laughed when she metioned that they would go wonderfully with the cloak. He shrugged it off his shoulders and carefully laid it over the back of one of the chairs. He didnt want anything happening to it and though being careful with it would be the best bet. "Well I do not know what glasses you might be looking through but I do not think it will match well with my cloak, but alas I am not know for my sense of fashion. I pretty much just wear what I find to be comfortable, regardless of whether it matches or not." he said with a light chuckle. Creylen nodded when she compared ballet to quidditch knowing full well how rusty one can be when they havent been participating in something for a while. It was that way with every sport too. Had to keep up the practice in order to stay trained and good at it. "Practice makes perfect is the old addage, right?" he asked with a grin. And wow... I sound like a boring ballet obsessed person... Creylen listened intently, finding that even though he found what she talked about to be seemingly dull, he was still highly interested. "Well I dont think you sound that boring, but obsessed I can see." he said with wink. "So you just do a lot of ballet stuff over the summer then?" he asked inquisitively. "At least you have something to keep you entertained. Me I dont do much of anything. Hmm, exactly why arent you at the place now? Shouldnt you be teaching the tots too?" he asked with a smirk. I don't think I really know anything about your home life..." Creylen smiled at her initial statement and firmly planted himself in the seat, however he was quickly tugged out of the seat and forced to follow Alex up the stairs to see the house. "Yeh, I think normal shoes would do you better." he said with a slight poke in her side. "As for my home life, it was rather good right at the beginning of the summer. Dad took some time off work and Mom put things on hold to spend some time together. Alas, everything has returned to normal and I do not have much to do during the day. Things tend to be rather dull, that's why I came here today." he said with a smile. "Lucky for me, you were here." he added with a slight red tinge coming to his cheeks. "Wait a second... cloak? You wore that on the tube?" Alex said with a raised eyebrow. "I bet you got loads of stares.... and not for the nice shade of blue." she continued, her grin widening as she pictured it, never once considering that he would have used another means of getting to her house. "Or did you get dropped off or something?" Creylen flinched at her question. "Well I didnt exactly take the tube and you could say I sort of got dropped off." he added with a mischievious grin. "I mean there are many ways to travel and I felt obliged to make use of one of the more obscure ones." he said with a smile. "However I am not sure I should let you know how I got here. You might get mad at me or something." he said with a grin. "Then again, its not like you dont cause trouble yourself. Alas not nearly as much as I." he added. |

"Mad at you? Why would I get mad at you?" Alex questioned turning around and walking backwards a bit when she reached the top of the stairs and turned the corner towards her room. "Seems you might be surprised to know the amount of trouble I've caused. Takes a lot to get me mad. What'd you do? Fly over?" She said with a sideways smile from teasing him and turned back around heading towards her room and motioning to the stairs as she passed them. "Aura's room is up there. She seems to like the attic. Probably cause it's the biggest room in the house." "Gailie's room, my sister... she's muggle... it's at the other end of the hallway along with my Aunt Sarah's. We just passed Mum and Dad's... sorry... I don't think they'd appreciate me letting you in them." Alex said shrugging slightly and opened the door to her room, revealing a bed with a soft velvety purple comforter in her favorite pale shade covered in pillows of various shades of purple. Across from the bed next to her closet was an oak desk with shelfs above it, matching her dresser, covered in many photographs; a couple of them the wizarding ones she takes to school with her of PAMM, her and Aura, and of course muggle ones, including the one from the summer after her first year with Vivi, Keth, Occidit, Aura, Joe, and herself. Even the one of her and Keth alone was there. She had finally taken it from the bottom of her trunk and placed it with the others when she got home this summer. Eyeing it slightly, she suddenly felt like it shouldn't be up there with Crey up there. Might give him the wrong idea about Keth and her. She found she really didn't want to do that. She may have figured out why she was having thoughts like this recently, but that didn't mean she was going to say any of them out loud. It also meant, however, that she didn't want to give him wrong ideas. Deciding just not to mention the photos was the best course of action, she decided. As she stepped in the door, she left it open. "Well... this is really the only thing you may find of interest up here anyways." She said casually glancing around at her domain of the house. It didn't seem to have changed much in her mind save for the addition of the magical things like the wizarding photos and her spare wand in it's holder on her night table. "This is my room... not much... but it's home. My favorite has to be the flowers below that window over there. The lavender and yellow roses. We planted them when we moved in... right before I got my letter." Alex said smiling at the memory. "I'll be just a sec..." Alex said walking over to her closet to pull out a pair of normal shoes. Sitting on her bed, she pulled the leg of her pants up enough to untie her ballet shoes and unwrapped the ribbons from her leg first on one leg and then on the other, than slipped her feet into a pair of sandals. Wrapping the ribbons around her shoes, she returned them to the closet. "Much better. Ready to continue? You already saw the living room..." Alex said turning from her closet. "We have the family room, kitchen, dining room.... then that leaves the basement which has Selina's room and the rec room... since my room is pretty much the only one up here I can let ya in... and that's pretty much only since I have the house to myself right now." Alex said with a small laugh. She wasn't quite sure why she was feeling slightly nervous. This was Creylen. Her friend. Nothing to feel nervous about, even if she did possibly want more than friendship. Perhaps that was why right there. She was showing him something that there weren't many that could say they've seen from school. It may just be a bedroom, but she still felt nervous about it. |

"Mad at you? Why would I get mad at you?" "Eh, I dont really know, but there is always that possibility. And I am not too sure that I want you to be mad at me for any reason." he said before he realized what he meant by that. Maybe his mouth was telling him what his mind had been trying to ignore. That he liked Alex a lot and didnt know what to do about it. He eyed her carefully as she finished making her way up the stairs. He wasnt sure what about her brought his attention, nor what made him like her, however he knew now, for sure, that he had found someone with whom he could see spending a great deal of time and never getting bored. "Seems you might be surprised to know the amount of trouble I've caused. Takes a lot to get me mad. What'd you do? Fly over?" Creylen's jaw dropped when he heard her say that, however he wasnt sure whether she saw his expression or not. "Eh, you might have caused your fair share of trouble, but I doubt much of that would warrant you getting thrown out of school. Then again I dont know you that very well." he said with a grin. "Well I know your better sides, but have yet to see your mischievious side." he said realizing he had never seen her in trouble. "As for flying over, like I would ever do such a thing," he added with a look on his face he was sure that would give him away. "Besides that would be dangerous and detrimental to not only my health but also my career at Hogwarts." he said reminiscing on the past three years. He followed her up and watched as she pointed out the various rooms in her house upstairs. "I didnt know that Aura lived with you. Somewhere along the line I missed that." he said with a curious look. When she opened the door to her room he smirked at the pristine nature, much different than his back at home. "Figures your room would be so clean. Mine is a disaster area, looks like a tornado touched down and stayed a night." he said with a grin. His eyes drifted over to the many pictures lining her bookshelf. His eyes followed each of the pictures until he came to one that held Alex and a guy that seemed vaguely familiar. "Who is this?" he asked walking to the photo and picking it up. A slight hint of jealousy could be heard in his voice, but it wasnt the threatening kind, just the curious one. "He seems like a nice character and you seem remarkably chipper in this picture as well." he said with a smile. "A good friend?" he asked. "This is my room... not much... but it's home. My favorite has to be the flowers below that window over there. The lavender and yellow roses. We planted them when we moved in... right before I got my letter." "Ah, yes the flowers. I remember those. I actually saw them before I knocked on your neighbor's door, but something made me ignore them. Who knows?" he said while shrugging his shoulders. "This is a rather beautiful house you have here. Much nicer than the one I live in, however you also have many more people living in it than we have in ours." he said with a smile. "A nice, big, happy family." he added. "Much better. Ready to continue? You already saw the living room..." Alex said turning from her closet. "We have the family room, kitchen, dining room.... then that leaves the basement which has Selina's room and the rec room... since my room is pretty much the only one up here I can let ya in... and that's pretty much only since I have the house to myself right now." Creylen smiled. Alex seemed to be rambling and he wondered if she was feeling nervous at having him around or having him in her room. He wasnt sure which, but he did know that her nerves were acting up and she needed a break from it. He tried to alleviate it by prodding her along. "So show me a bit more of the house. How about that rec room?" he said, astonished at the idea. "We tend to have our recreation outside but alas when it rains it would be beneficial to have a room inside the house as well." he said with a grin. He waited until she started to leave before following, afterall he had no clue where he would be heading. He had felt a privilege to see her house. He wasnt sure what was acting in him but he knew that he was extremely happy that he had decided to make the trip to see her house. It was something that he was sure not many people abound could say about her and he knew that it seemed to be something special to her too. The way she smiled when she looked at him and the way her eyes sparkled when she talked about her house. He knew it was something that was especially proud for her to discuss. |

Alex raised an eyebrow and gave a small noncommital shrug of her shoulders in response to him saying she had never done anything bad enough to get her thrown out of school. More like never been caught doing anything bad enough to risk that. As much fun as some of the things she had done with PAMM, something told her that the whole 'pranking the professors causing them to imidate muggle movie characters' might not be looked to kindly upon. It was the reason they had their 'alter egos' after all. Had to protect the innocent front that was seen by most. "Well..... there are ways to fly undetected by muggles... how do you think we make it to Professor Wood's practice every year in Flying... we do fly over muggles. Have no choice but to." Alex said shrugging slightly. Truthfully flying in the summer didn't seem like that big of a deal since she herself had learned about the ways to stay hidden by taking up the rear of that trip twice a year. "Don't worry.. your secret is safe with me." she added with a wink. The way he was acting already lead her to conclude he did in fact fly over. 'Must have hid his broom...' "Ummm... yeah. It's a friend." Alex said as she looked and realised just which picture it was he was looking at. The one of her and Keth at the 3 B's. "You know him... though... might not remember him. He's been gone for awhile... though was back briefly last year. It's Kethro Magus. I haven't seen him or heard from in awhile. We were really good friends even before we were together. Probably still would be good friends even after breaking up if he didn't have to leave school again. Him and I were always better as friends." Alex said taking the picture and returning it to the shelf, but this time behind the PAMM portrait slightly. No need to keep old ghosts up front. Best to have the present happy times forward. "Yeah... it gets kind of crowded at times when everyone is home. Tis what happens when life happens sometimes." Alex said shrugging slightly before they headed out. "Part of why I stayed at Grimmauld last summer. I was still here in London... able to come over... able to work at the studio.... but not feeling lie I was in the way from the rather crowdedness. Seems it's a good thing Selina, Aura, and I are away at school the majority of the year. I don't think we'd all survive if we weren't. Way too many people under one roof for too long." "So... the rec room it is then." Alex said feeling a slight wave of relief wash over her. All in all it went rather well. Just the comment about it being pristine. Alex wasn't sure what to think about that. It was justa habit she picked up from living with Weegie and Caitlyn most the year. With those two, you had to be extra clean in your portion or the clothes pile would end up attacking and taking innocent children. Though, it did make for easy access when wanting to rummage through your dormmates closet considering it wasn't actually in the closet. Climbing down the stairs, checking back once to give Crey a smile, Alex continued on through the ground floor of the house and through the kitchen heading towards the basement stairs. Flipping the light switch as she reached the stairs, she pulled the door open and headed down them. "If you like pool like my dad does.. you'll like this room." Alex said as she reached the bottom of the steps. There was a slight chill in the air from them being underground, but for it being a hot summer day, it felt perfect. In the front half there was a pool table centered along with a dart board on the wall. Behind it on the opposite side of the room was a few mirrors on the wall with a bar attached to the front. In the middle of the wall was a door with a TV beside it and a couch across from it. "That leads to Selina's room. Only other thing down here." "We have the less exciting places to see still or we can hang out here... or the living room. Your choice of activity.. though I doubt the bar over there will be one of em." Alex said winking. She was still feeling nervous, but found herself relaxing a bit. They were just two friends hanging out after all. Nothing to be nervous about. "I can go grab a couple drinks and we can hang out down here for awhile, if ya want. Play pool... darts... talk? There might be a good movie on..." she continued, reaching up to brush a stray hair from her face, pushing one side behind her ear. |

"Don't worry.. your secret is safe with me." Creylen smiled at her and offered a wink. "Well thats good to know. Wouldnt want to be getting kicked out of school and all." he said. "Besides I wouldnt want to lose the opportunity to see your face as frequently as I do." he said with a flirtatious wink. "And I know way too many people would miss me as well." he added with a flair. "I mean, who wouldnt want to have me around a whole year." "You know him... though... might not remember him. He's been gone for awhile... though was back briefly last year. It's Kethro Magus. I haven't seen him or heard from in awhile. We were really good friends even before we were together. Probably still would be good friends even after breaking up if he didn't have to leave school again. Him and I were always better as friends." Creylen studied the picture a bit more before Alex took it out of his hands. "He looks vaguely familiar, however I am not sure I even got to talk to him let alone get to know him all that well." he said with a confused look. "Wait did he try out for quidditch one year?" he asked inquisitively. "He looks like someone I might have known from that, but then again my memory isnt THAT good." he added with a wry smile. "So you dated him, eh?" he asked with a hint of slight jealousy. He wasnt sure where that hint came from since he had never let any notion of feelings be known to her, but they were there and there was no denying that when he asked her that question. "I am sure that he is a great guy, with even how little I know of him. I mean you did date him and you seem to think he is a very good friend. Any idea where he went?" he asked, always inquisitive about other's lives. Creylen was astonished at the size of the rec room and all of the things they had down there. IT was the type of room that he had always wished his house had. Of course his house had a pool table but no room like this to put it in. It just existed in a room by itself which did serve its purpose though. His eyes widened at the area that was down there with the TV as well. He sighed as he took the last step. "The room of my dreams, and it isnt even in my house." he said with a soft chuckle. "I can honestly say that I LOVE to play pool, however I am not THAT good at it yet." he added. "We have the less exciting places to see still or we can hang out here... or the living room. Your choice of activity.. though I doubt the bar over there will be one of em." "Wait, what if I DO want something from the bar." he said with a wink. "I mean maybe just a sip." he added lightly tickling her side. "Just kidding, if you didnt catch that." he added to ease any worries she may have had. "Anyways I think chilling down here and just talking would be the best bet for now." he said with a smile as he took a seat. When she sat beside him he thought about what to talk about. He debated on beating around the bush and wasting their time or just getting to the point. He decided there were other things acting that brought him there that day and decided it would be best to just get them out in the open. "Hmm, well I guess something to talk about would be my dissappearance this past year." he said with a slight frown. "I just want to say that I am sorry for leaving like that and not really ever letting anyone know. I know it was a surprise. It was really a surprise to me too." With that he bowed his head as a solitary tear strolled down his face. The memories were far too strong and he wondered if he would be able to get through it all with her, but he waited for some reassurance before continuing. |

"I'm sure you would manage to beat me. I'm not that good at all. And darts yeah... those holes on the wall are from me. We'll just leave it at that." Alex said laughing. If she realy thought about it, she mised the board way more than she hit it. Probably a good thing she didn't play chaser. If she can't hit a dart board, no way she could get a quaffle through the hoops. Then too, she was able to his a moving target with a bludger. So, perhaps she wasn't hopeless in the aiming field. "Sure... you can have a sip. A sip of something dry, that is." Alex said playfully sticking her tongue out at him and sitting next to him. "And of course I caught that. How can you doubt that." Alex added squriming slightly and jumping when he reached over and tickled her. "Hey now... fight fair!" Alex said reaching right back and poking him in the side. Sititng down next to him, she felt those butterflies flutter again. When he began to speak, she turned slightly in her seat to fae him better and listened quietly while he spoke. He was apologising agains for being gone. She had mentally decided she wasn't going to push him for an answer to where he was. They all had their secrets. Merlin knew she had one. Howwve, when he finished speaking, he lowered his head. Leaning her head to the side, she reached her hand out and placed it on his arm. "Crey? Yeah.. it was a surprise... but things happen sometimes. It's okay. I'm not mad anymore... I admit I'm curious, yeah, but you don't have to talk about it if you dont' want to." "I'm here though, if you want someone to talk to... anytime." Alex said rubbing his arm softly while she spoke. she didn't see the tear that ran down his face, but all of her instincts were on high alert. She didn't like seeing him upset like this. "Whatever it is, you can talk to me, if you want, and it won't leave this room." |

"Crey? Yeah.. it was a surprise... but things happen sometimes. It's okay. I'm not mad anymore... I admit I'm curious, yeah, but you don't have to talk about it if you dont' want to." Creylen looked up to Alex, his eyes dried and his strength resolved. He opened his mouth to speak but stopped himself. He had no clue what he was going to say. Did he want to tell her that he had thought about her the time he was gone. Did he want to tell her that he felt an ache in his heart when she wasnt around. No, he wanted to tell her what had happened. "Thanks Alex, that really means a lot. I guess I just worry that you wouldnt be able to forgive me for leaving without a trace, or anything to know that I was all right." he said with a sigh. "I guess its just insecurity." he added. "I'm here though, if you want someone to talk to... anytime." Alex said rubbing his arm softly while she spoke. she didn't see the tear that ran down his face, but all of her instincts were on high alert. She didn't like seeing him upset like this. "Whatever it is, you can talk to me, if you want, and it won't leave this room." Creylen felt her hand on his arm and knew that she was just being comforting, but the soft touch and velvety feel only heightened his senses and made him realize even more so the place that she held in his heart. He knew she was a great friend and an awesome companion, however would she ever be interested in more. He knew there was no way to find out but by asking, however that was MUCH harder said than done he thought to himself. "Well I guess you do deserve to know why I was gone for so long." he said with a weak grin. "It is only fair." he added. "As you may know my father is an Auror. He puts his life on the line pretty much everyday he goes out to work and I never know if he is coming home that evening. This was something that was much harder to deal with when I was at home every evening. I think it was something that basically faded into the distance when I went off to school. Never really thought about him coming home at night, just assumed it to be the norm." he said with a slight choke in his voice. He cleared his throat and continued. "Well one day at the beginning of school, I received a letter by owl post from my mother. It said that my father hadnt been home in a week and normally that would be ok for about three days if he was out on a job, which he had told her he would be, but not a week." Creylen said sadly. "Anyways I wrote back and forth with her for many days before realizing that he had gone missing. Professor Trimble even helped a little with it too. He was a friend of my fathers and tried to help my mom and I locate him. Thing was, no one knew where he had gone." Creylen continued. "So I left. I ran from all that I had at Hogwarts to go try and find my father. It was a split second decision that very few people knew about. It was something that kept me away for many months." "When I arrived home, my mother was a wreck because she had received a letter, saying that he would die if we didnt turn over the Stone. The problem was that we didnt know what the stone was a reference to." Creylen said with a sigh. "So we tore the house apart looking for some stone that might give us a clue but found nothing. After about three weeks of searching we received another letter, hinting at where we might find my father. I travelled with the help of some family and friends of my father to where we thought he might be. Surprisingly the letter was not a lie, however my father was only minutes from death. They had not thought that we would get there soon enough to rescue him, but had seriously mistaken us. After that we took him to the Hospital where he was returned to semi-good health. I then stayed the remainder of term and returned to Hogwarts this term." he said with a sigh. "I worry about him everyday. Afraid the same thing may happen and he will not return home. Or that I will get a letter telling me that he is dead. It's way too much for someone of my age to have to deal with, but I have to be strong, for my mum. I need to be there for her when things get tough. She works all the time to avoid talking about it, but each night when he walks through that door, you can see the relief in her eyes and the sorrow when he has to leave the next morning. Its wearing on her, and on me. Really I do not know what to do." Creylen said with a sigh. "Another thing that has been eating at me, is about the Stone. My mother and I have no clue what they were talking about, and my father either doesnt either or is not telling us. One way or another though, I am sure that they will return, looking for it and not letting anyone or anything stand in their way. Its a rather frightening thought." Creylen said, once again lowering his head. "Sorry to bring this all upon you, but I havent been able to tell anyone about it, and I didnt know who to turn to. However, you have been a great friend and I have this feeling that I can trust you with just about anything." he said with a brief flicker of a smile. "You just seem to have a way of letting me know that everything is all right." he added. |

"Well.... I admit I was perturbed... and well.. honestly... hurt you didn't let any of us know you were at least all right... but I don't know... something made me realise that things like that don't really matter all that much, you know? Not in the long run... besides... you came back. Now, if you hadn't... that'd be another story." Alex said shrugging. "And anyways... I believe in second chances... pretty much only time I might not is if someone close to me was hurt." Sitting quietly while he began his tale, she shook her head slightly at the mention of his father being an auror. She hadn't known. She knew his dad was a wizard. Just that little piece of information made her realise how much she didn't know about the boy sitting next to her. It also made her both interested to hear more about him and happy he was willing to share whatever it was he was about to share. 'Professor Trimble? Right.... he's an auror...' She thought to herself as she listened intently, not saying much quite yet. She figured it would be better to let him tell his story without interrupting. Instinctively while he spoke, her hand moved from his arm to his hand and gave it small squeeze as if letting him know she was here, listening intently. She wasn't sure why or when exactly it had done that, but she made no effort to remove it while she continued to listen. "This was over a stone? Like... a rock? Why would somebody hold your dad over a simple stone?" Alex questioned, her brow furrowing as she tried to think of what could possibly be special about a stone. "I can see now why you left... I would have too. In a heartbeat. And I seriously doubt I would have left word myself. You obviously had more important matters on your mind." Alex said after a moment. "There's really only one thing you can do... that's to cherish every moment you do get with him... and know if something does happen, it was doing something important. I mean... he's an auror... it is a dangerous job. It's a very important one too.... which I'm sure you realise." "Hopefully, whatever this stone is they want.... they never get. I mean, it would have to be something whoever 'they' are should not have if your dad is actually keeping it from them, right?" Alex said wondering if she was even being helpful. "I'd be frightened too... in fact, I'm scared for you... I don't want you to have to go through the loss of him... it was tough enough when my Uncle died... I couldn't imagine losing my father..." she added quietly. Blushing when he said she had a way to make it seem all right, she shrugged her shoulders slightly, returning the small smile she caught. "Nothing to be sorry about, Resperv... I'm glad to help, if I can... even if I'm not sure the best thing to say honestly...." Realising she still had his hand, she blushed even more, retriving her hand and placing it on her lap. "I'm glad you trust me like this..." she said after a moment of willing the heat in her cheeks to go away. "So, there aren't any clues as to what the stone is at all? That you could find anyways?" |

"This was over a stone? Like... a rock? Why would somebody hold your dad over a simple stone?" Creylen sighed. "I wish I knew. I wish I knew what this was all about. I wish I knew who took him from his everyday job and his family. I wish I could just get my hands on them, however I do know that if they were capable of getting my father, they would have NO problem getting me." he said sadly. "I just wish I had the capability to take them out of our lives forever. To make sure that they would never bother us again or hurt my dad." he added with a vehement tone to his voice. He knew that getting angry didnt help anything, but he couldnt help but wish harm on those that did what they did to his dad. It's a very important one too.... which I'm sure you realise." "I am glad that you understand where I am coming from, but there is also no reason why I couldnt tell you all where I was and what I was doing. I mean thats what a real friend would do wouldnt they?" he asked, knowing full well that she wouldnt tell him that that was what a real friend would do. He eyed her carefully. He knew that things were different between them since his dissappearance and he just wished people would really tell him what was on their mind and not beat around the bush or act like they didnt care that he hadnt left word. Then again maybe Alex was telling the truth. Who knew? "He does have an important job, but I dont want him in it anymore. He is in too much danger with everything that is going on and whatnot. I dont want him hurt, but I also dont want him overly bored at home either. He has to do what makes him happy and I have to just spend the time I have with him. He did take work off at the beginning of the summer and spent time with both my mom and I at home. It was nice, kind of how I wish it could be all the time." he said with a slight smile at the memory. "But he had to return to work, and it eats at me every day when he leaves to head out. Always wondering if he will return." he said with a sigh. "Hopefully, whatever this stone is they want.... they never get. "Thing is, I dont know that my father really knows what it is. He seemed somewhat genuine when he told me that he didnt know but then again he could have just been protecting us. Id rather know that he did know though. It would save us some heartache and drama." he said with a sigh. "Something to let us know that he knew the best way to protect us, I guess." Creylen added. "Obviously it isnt anything I would wish on my worst enemy, and I definitely do not want to have to deal with it either." Creylen said sadly. "Losing a parent is one of the worst things I think a child could go through." he added with a crack in his voice. "Sorry about that, its just not something that I like thinking about or talking about." he finished. "Nothing to be sorry about, Resperv... I'm glad to help, if I can... even if I'm not sure the best thing to say honestly...." "Its ok really, you are here to listen which means a lot more than anything that you could really say at this time." he added with a slight grin at her. "Its nice to know that there do exist some people that you can turn to in tough times and talk to about things. To know that they are there for you and will be there when you need a shoulder or an ear, means much more than words ever could. Up until this point he hadnt really noticed Alex's hand on his, at least until she took it away. He had been too busy to realize the touch of her hands. When she pulled it away he wanted to reach out for it again, but wasnt sure if that was a wise idea so he just raised his hand to his ear and acted like he had a scratch to itch, to try and play off the movement. He wasnt sure if it worked, but he just kept his eyes still and kept on talking. "I'm glad you trust me like this..." she said after a moment of willing the heat in her cheeks to go away. "So, there aren't any clues as to what the stone is at all? That you could find anyways?" Creylen looked straight into her eyes. She seemed to know that he had found something that might lead him to believe he knew something about the stone. He hadnt been sure himself about it, and didnt want to talk about it until he knew better about it. "Well lets just say that I have somewhat of a hint about what the stone might be, but I cant be certain as of now. You cant tell anyone about it either. I dont want anyone snooping in on it or anyone coming after me either. I need to finalize some details first, before I decide on bringing it out into the open." he said with a soft sigh. "Sorry for keeping you in the dark." he said raising his hand and brushing her hair away from her face. He wasnt sure what made him do that but he just felt like it was right. |

"Crey... yes, I would have liked to have heard from you while you were gone... I'd be lying if I said otherwise. That doesn't mean that I think you aren't a real friend... what kind of friend would I be if I thought that?" Alex said looking him in the eye so he knew she meant it. "Friends also understand when there are extenuating circumstances... Don't worry. Seriously. Anyone who hasn't come around, will." "Thing is, I dont know that my father really knows what it is. He seemed somewhat genuine when he told me that he didnt know but then again he could have just been protecting us. Id rather know that he did know though. It would save us some heartache and drama." he said with a sigh. "Something to let us know that he knew the best way to protect us, I guess." Creylen added. "Yeah... it would... but at the same time if he told you he did have whatever this stone is, he would be putting you at risk simply by you knowing he has it.... if he does know what it is and where it is, that is." Alex said, her brain turning with thoughts. "That could be why he isn't telling you what he knows... if anything. The whole 'need to know' thing..." "Crey... I know... don't think about what may happen.... you don't know when or if something will happen to him..." Alex said softly after he spoke of not wanting to thik about it. "Better to focus on the here and now... make it all count..." "That's one thing I can always do... listen." Alex said as her eyes flickered down to his hand when it moved. For a moment she thought he may have been reaching out to follow her own hand, but it raised instead to his ear. Sighing inwardly, she looked back up at him, deciding not to let it seem as if she noticed anything. Next thing she knew, her eyes were found by his. He had a hint about the stone? He hadn't mentioned that before. Trying to squash her curiosity, she simply nodded. "Don't worry... it won't leave this room... I admit I'm curious though... but I'll wait until you want to tell about it." "Sorry for keeping you in the dark." he said raising his hand and brushing her hair away from her face. Closing her eyes for a moment when his hand brushed the hair from her face, she looked up again, meeting his eyes. "I understand... I do... just... promise me you won't do something stupid? I don't want anything to happen to you..." she said quietly, blushing a bit and then looking down at her hands. |

"Yeah... it would... but at the same time if he told you he did have whatever this stone is, he would be putting you at risk simply by you knowing he has it.... if he does know what it is and where it is, that is." Alex said, her brain turning with thoughts. "That could be why he isn't telling you what he knows... if anything. The whole 'need to know' thing..." Creylen shrugged. Alex was right, his father was probably just protecting the family the best way he could and didnt want anything to happen to them so he just decided to keep it secret. As much as it pained him to admit it, he knew his father was doing the right thing. "Well I suppose you are right, its just painstaking to know that he knows something and wont tell me. I am 15 by GOD!" he nearly shouted. It obviously upset Creylen more than he had known. He just bowed his head and sighed. He didnt know how things would go next time he saw his father now that he had let out the whole ordeal. He thought maybe it would be wise to avoid major discussions with him for the time being. "I understand... I do... just... promise me you won't do something stupid? I don't want anything to happen to you..." Creylen looked up and smiled. "That means a lot more than you might know." he said with a wink. "Dont worry, because you have asked me not to, I wont, but dont think that I wont think about it at least." he said with a grim expression. Of course he wanted to go looking for whoever had done what they did to his father, but again Alex was right, it would be wise for him to stay to his regular course. He wouldnt need anything to happen to him. Besides he was really starting to feel at home at VH and wouldnt want anything to take place that would jeopardize his time there. It was even more like home than home was. "Thanks Alex." he said taking her hand. "YOu keep me level headed 95% of the time, when I could blow up at someone. It really takes a calm effort to do that as well." he said with a smile. "Don't worry... it won't leave this room... I admit I'm curious though... but I'll wait until you want to tell about it." Creylen grinned. He knew that her curiosity was piqued because she was having a hard time hiding it. He thought about telling her and weighed the pros and cons of the matter in his head. He decided that she would be able to help out more than it would hurt to tell her. "Well I guess it couldnt hurt to tell you, could it?" he said with a smile. He leaned in real close as if someone was nearby that could hear. "Well I think the stone has something to do with...." he was cut off by a sharp peck at the window. He looked over and saw his house owl sitting on the ledge with a note in its beak. Creylen sighed and walked over to the window and smiled as he saw the familiar Hogwarts envelope and seal, however the seal was broken. "Hmm...I wonder what this is, too early for book lists." he said as he returned to the couch opening the envelope. Inside was a parchment that had obviously been read. "Must have been mum, she likes to read my mail." he said rolling his eyes. As he progressed through the letter, his eyes dropped however. He was unable to speak and his mouth hung open as he glanced to Alex and back at the letter. |

"Well... as long as they are only thoughts that don't become reality..." Alex said softly. "Thank you..." she aded looking back up at him and then back to her hands. Glancing up when he took her hand, she smiled. She was glad that she could be someone there for him. "Only 95% of the time, Resperv? I'll have to double whatever I'm doing then to increase it to all the time." Alex said with a playful grin. "I can't stay at 95%... that's just not good enough." Her face visually lit up a bit when he leaned in a bit to tell her more. She was interested not only because her Ravenclaw nature wanted her to know, but also because perhaps, a second mind on it may help. Closing her eyes in slight frustration when she heard the peck at the window t the exact inopportune time, she looked up in the direction of the upper window that was out ground level in the basement. Wasn't a bird she recognised. Getting up as Crey did to head to the window, she picked up the broom that was leaning against the wall and used it to lift the high latch on the window. "I've had to do this a couple times." Alex said with a wink as the bird flew in and to Crey. Spotting the Hogwarts crest, she raised an eyebrow since she hadn't received her supplies list yet. "Mum's are good at that..." Alex said with a slight shake of her head, remembering the letter her own mum had read of Gailie's that almost made Alex not able to go to school the next year. "Don't ever write anything home you don't want your mum to read... believe me." Raising an eyebrow at Crey's reaction to the letter, she leaned over toward him a bit, wanting to get closer to read, but not actually close enough to read. "What's going on?" Alex questioned. |

"Only 95% of the time, Resperv? I'll have to double whatever I'm doing then to increase it to all the time." Alex said with a playful grin. "I can't stay at 95%... that's just not good enough." Creylen laughed at her reaction. "Always have to try and be perfect." he said with a smile. "I guess you will have to try just a bit harder in order to live up to your expectations." he said with a grin. "What's going on?" Alex questioned. Creylen turned with his mouth still wide open and looked at Alex. "Well, it seems that ummm there have been some changes at the school, particularly in Ravenclaw, not so sure about the other houses." he said as he handed over the letter. His eyes were still wide however his mouth was slowly drawing into a smile as Alex was reading the letter. He didnt know how it had come to the fact that he had been made a Prefect, but it had and he wasnt going to let the opportunity to pass him by. He did wonder however where his badge was. It was probably sitting at home with his mum as she stared at it in pride. She had been dissappointed when he hadnt gotten the position before, however he did know that the better person received the opportunity the first time, and now he had his. He stood up a little shakily at first with it not quite kicking in that he was a Prefect and waited slowly for Alex's reaction. He hoped that she would be happy for him, however he didnt know what her true feeling were on the matter. Along with Prefect came many responsibilities that would take his time and dedication and he wondered how much that would eat into his friendships and possible relationships. He stared blankly out the window pensively waiting. |

Reading over the letter when it was handed ot her, Alex felt her mouth go dry and her color fade. Prefect? He was a prefect? That was good... but at the same time not good. She'd have to make sure to be extra careful in what she said around him now. She had to be careful before as well, but that was different. That was just the normal hiding of PAMM. Now, if she accidentily slipped something, he'd be obliged to turn her in. No matter how much she trusted him, she couldn't risk that. Then, there was the part of her that was very happy for him. He deserved it. And who knows, maybe, just maybe if he did ever get an inkling of her other persona, perhaps friendship would win out. She may always play damage control with Max, but she also didn't honestly believe he would turn her in if Vivi slipped one too many times in front of him. Thank goodness for being able to distract him easily. Today, her non paranoid side was to win out. Turning to him with a bright smile, albeit slightly pale, she threw her arms around him in a hug. "Congratulations!" she said giving him a quick peck on the cheek. "And to think you were worried about how you were doing in school before... this right here says the professor's think you're doing better than fine." she continued, releasing him and holding up the letter. Yes, today, being happy for him will win out. Tomorrow, who knows. One thing she knew, she'd have to be extremely careful and not slip anything that could connect PAMM to her. Wouldn't be too hard, right? |

"Congratulations!" she said giving him a quick peck on the cheek. "And to think you were worried about how you were doing in school before... this right here says the professor's think you're doing better than fine." she continued, releasing him and holding up the letter. Creylen smiled when Alex's arms encircled his neck. His faced flushed slightly as he realized that she truly was happy for him. It wasnt something that he had known for sure, but he was happy that it had happened. He was pleased that she was going to be happy for him, but he wasnt sure she realized just how busy it was going to make him. It would be awfully difficult to spend the kind of time with her that he was going to want to, not to mention the fact that school work was getting that much more difficult for the both of them. "Thanks Alex, that really means a lot. I am glad that you are happy for me. I was worried that it might cause problems between us but I am glad that you took it well." he said with his face flushing even more when she placed a soft peck onto his cheek. He felt himself blushing and knew that it was apparent to her, and that he wouldnt be able to hide it. Creylen looked outside and noticed that the skies were graying over rather quickly. "Ack...I should be getting back to my place before the skies open up or it gets too dark. That wouldnt be the best idea in the world." he added with a smile. "Care to walk back with me to my broom?" he asked with a sheepish smile. "I will bring you back to your home." he finished, gathering up his things. "Besides I am sure that my parents will want to celebrate." |

Smiling inwardly at the blush that had grazed his cheeks when she kissed his cheek, she mentally filed away that image. She had to admit she did like having that effect on him. If she was truthful to herself, she would probably realise he may like that effect on her, not that she would allow herself to hope that anyways. "Problems between us? Nah..." Alex said not entirely believing what she was saying. she still had in the back of her mind that she was really going to watch what she said. She didn't want him to have to choose between protecting her or upholding his position. That was one thing she was very glad about for herself. She knew she would never be able to do the prefect job well. "Besides... we survived a few month absence. I think our... friendship can handle you having a few extra duties." "And anyways... I could always schedule you for extra training next year. Quidditch does have to be attended to, you know." Alex added playfully nudging him in the side. "How's that sound? Some calisthenics might remind you to come see certain people." Alex added winking so he knew she was kidding. "Walk you back? Sure..." Alex said dissapointed he was leaving already. She, of course, knew he was right about both the weather and his parents. "Sounds like a plan to me." "Er.... where exactly did you stash your broom?" she questioned turning around to face him after she lead him to the top of the basement stairs. |

Some calisthenics might remind you to come see certain people." Alex added winking so he knew she was kidding. Creylen rolled his eyes at the mention of extra practices. "Wait a second, I do not want you to become one of those dictator-like captains like have been known to roam the halls of Hogwarts. That is the LAST thing Ravenclaw or I need this year." he said with a wink. "Besides if I have to practice and do schoolwork and do prefect stuff, there wouldnt be much Alex time now would there. Its not quite the same in practice as it is one on one." he said with a smile. Creylen sighed. "You know, I dont really know the exact place. I would recognize it if I saw it, but its in a big field with some bushes in it, about a five minute walk from your house. Any idea where I am talking about?" he asked while making his way towards the front door. He wasnt really looking forward to leaving however he knew that at this point in time it was what he needed to do. He needed to get home for he didnt know the way to his home in the dark and the clouds were looking more and more threatening. Besides, his parents were probably waiting for him to congratulate him and take him out, the same things they did every time he accomplished something. They even did it when he played his first quidditch game. Even though he only lasted about 2 minutes before being knocked out, it was something big in their eyes. |

"Dictator like captains? Moi?" Alex said looking mock horror stricken. "Perish the thought... and besides... I never said it would be the whole team in those extra training sessions." she added with a wink. "I seem to remember saying it would be you with the extra ones. See there? Plenty of Alex time for you." she continued with a grin, not even realising what she might be suggesting. "You know, I dont really know the exact place. I would recognize it if I saw it, but its in a big field with some bushes in it, about a five minute walk from your house. Any idea where I am talking about?" "Yeah.. I think I do... there's a park down the street." Alex said grabbing her house key from off the hook and locking the door behind them. Playing with the key in her hands, she walked along side Crey towards the closest part she knew of. It was practically just a field with benches, but it was a field with benches that were it a weekend would be overflowing with activity. Luckily, though, it was pretty dead during the week. Just the occasional morning jogger. "I don't have access to the floo here... but... I do have a phone... then too... you probably don't..." Alex started shrugging slightly. "It'd be fun to hang out again later if you wanted... I loved seeing you today. I missed you." she added, her cheeks tinging slightly. |

"I seem to remember saying it would be you with the extra ones. See there? Plenty of Alex time for you." she continued with a grin, not even realising what she might be suggesting. Creylen's eyes widened at her statement. He wondered idly if she understood what could possibly be the meaning behind what she just said. Sure Creylen was young, but he was old enough to know some things about the nature of life, and that statement just didnt seem appropriate. He struggled for his voice. "Umm, you do realize that one on one time with me, might not be the most enjoyable time in the world." he said still pondering over her choice of verbage for her statement. "I am a very dull guy when it comes to major one on one time. Most of the time I cant think of things to say and its like those awkward silences where you want to talk but have nothing to talk about. Then if you were to say something, it would sound forced and dumb." he said with a grin. "Thats me all the time." he added with a chuckle. "I don't have access to the floo here... but... I do have a phone... then too... you probably don't..." Alex started shrugging slightly. "It'd be fun to hang out again later if you wanted... I loved seeing you today. I missed you." she added, her cheeks tinging slightly. "It was fun hanging out," he said as he walked over to where he had his broom and pulled out the dilapidated thing. Sure it worked but it was nothing like his Firebolt, not even close to his Nimbus. "I am not sure how to get in touch with you other than the fact that I do have a phone." he said with a wink. "So if you give me your number I can give you a ring sometime soon." he said with a smile. "That is, if you want me to." |

"Dull? You?" Alex said raising an eyebrow his direction. "That's one thing I have yet to see..." Eyeing the broom he held up, Alex looked up at him with a grin. "Not using the Firebolt? Though, can't beat an old broom sometimes. I still like taking out my favorite school broom when I can. He handles differently then the Nimbus." Alex said nodding. "Of course, I want you to. I wouldn't have suggested it if I didn't." Alex said shaking her head with a grin. "Got a pen and paper with you? I certainly don't.... should have thought of this back home..." Alex continued holding up her key she was playing with still as if to emphasis it was all she brought out with her. |

"Not using the Firebolt? Though, can't beat an old broom sometimes. I still like taking out my favorite school broom when I can. He handles differently then the Nimbus." "Nah," he said with a smile as he held the broom in his right hand. "I didnt want to run the risk of losing it since in reality it doesnt really belong to me." he added. "Besides this accomplishes just what I needed it to." he said with a smile. He hopped on and floated above her, but not really high enough for anyone to tell that he was floating. Besides it was getting rather dark and even harder to see. "Of course, I want you to. I wouldn't have suggested it if I didn't." Alex said shaking her head with a grin. "Got a pen and paper with you? I certainly don't.... should have thought of this back home..." Creylen smiled at the thought that she wanted him around. "Well I dont have any paper but I should be able to remember it. Especially as important as it is." he said with a wink. He listened intently as she gave him her number and he made sure to mentally repeat it to himself before saying anything else to her. "Thank you for a wonderful afternoon and I do hope that everything treats you well til we talk or see each other again." he said with a smile as he leaned forward and placed a soft, quick kiss on her lips. He then turned around and flew away, into the growing darkness. |
