Alex bounced down to the commonroom for one final posting after ensuring the tryouts had a letter delivered to them telling them to be to the pitch. This was going to be her favorite part about the try out. She was a seeker at heart, afterall. Part of her was slightly disappointed that she was not to be able to participate in the challenge, but the other part was excited to give it. It had been a tradition it seemed in their house and she had had a blast when she was in it her third year. Last year, unfortunately time and the Quidditch schedule, not to mention the leadership changes made the challenge put on hold.
Spotting what she wanted, she posted on the message board the notice about the upcoming challenge and turned around, snatching the soapbox in the corner that sometimes made for a makeshift stage. "Oi! All interested in prizes…. Seeker Challenge to commence tomorrow! See the message board for details."
Steppign down, she suddenly had a vision of being trampled by seeker hopefuls or prize hopefuls. Quickly sidestepping out of the way of anyone wanting to see the message, she leaned the soapbox back where it belonged and headed over to her favorite chair by the window, sitting down and putting her feet up on the table. Sighing slightly, she grabbed her DADA review parchments (book, more like) and opened it up to set about some studying.
